Welcome. Please leave your unlimited revisions at the door

A publication for people who love making things and have concerns about everything surrounding it.

Somewhere, a file named final is being reopened.

That small betrayal is the reason for The Revision Cult. We like design. We also like pointing out when the business around design behaves like a printer that has learned to hold grudges.

This is a place for the parts of creative work that rarely make the polished case study: the muddy feedback, the peculiar meeting, the task that arrived disguised as a favour. The scenes may be invented. The useful questions should survive outside the joke.

Expect opinions with something to say and advice you can use without buying a course. When we invent a scenario, we will identify it as satire. When a subject needs evidence, a punchline will not stand in for it.

You do not have to agree with every dispatch. Disagreement is welcome, provided it contains slightly more information than “can we try another direction?”

Pull up a chair. Before you ask, yes, the chair is billable.
