The client sent an AI mood board and now gravity is a scope change

An attractive image has arrived with no visible means of standing up.

Picture a proposed exhibition stand with floating shelves, no supports and a queue of delighted visitors passing directly through a solid wall.

The image is a useful conversation starter. It is a less useful construction instruction. Before estimating, ask what the client likes about it: the atmosphere, the shape, the sense of scale? Those answers can survive a redesign even when the airborne cabinetry cannot.

Separate the desired effect from the proposed mechanism. A feeling of lightness might come from slender supports or a different viewing angle. You can test that with the people responsible for making and installing the work.

Record which parts are references and which parts have been approved for production. A beautiful presentation image can acquire contractual confidence simply by being forwarded enough times.

This is not an argument about whether anyone should use AI. It is an argument for checking how the thing works before someone rents a forklift.

Gravity has an excellent attendance record. Invite it to the first meeting.
